Serie A giants, Juventus are not prepared to back off in their pursuit of Ajax centre-back, Matthijs de Ligt, amid reports emerging that the Dutchman is all set to either move to one of Paris Saint-Germain or Barcelona.
The Ligue 1 champions are said to be favourites to secure his services after it his mother and girlfriend were spotted spending time in the capital, with it being understood that they were there to settle in and look for places to stay.

However, according to Tuttosport, as reported by Sports Mole, Juventus will not give up in their pursuit of him and will look to edge out his rivals by talking to his agent, Mino Raiola in the upcoming weeks. The meeting between the Raiola and the club hierarchy will be on a number of players, but De Ligt's current transfer situation is understood to be top priority.
Widely hailed as one of the best young defenders in the sport today, the 19-year-old has enjoyed an impressive season at Ajax, where his performances helped the club complete the domestic double, while also reaching the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League, with the young side defeating teams like Real Madrid and Juventus in the process.
The centre-back has also been linked with a move to Barcelona, though nothing has come out of that interest as of now.
