France and Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe has dismissed questions regarding a possible transfer to Real Madrid this summer, and said this was not the right time to be asking about that.

Mbappe scored his 100th career goal when he was one of the goalscorers in the 4-0 win in the Euro 2020 qualifier against Andorra. The Frenchman has been one of the players linked with a move to the Spanish club, who are having a summer overhaul following a disappointing season despite having had three managers.

With questions inevitable regarding his possible move to Spain, Mbappe has urged journalists not to ask about transfers while he was playing for France in the Euro 2020 qualifiers.

"Now is not the time to talk about Real Madrid," Mbappe told reporters post-game, according to Goal"You always ask me the same thing, but it's not the time."

Madrid have already signed the likes of Luka Jovic and Eden Hazard for considerable amounts of money, but it is unlikely that they will pass up the opportunity to bring in one of the best players on the planet when he is just 20 years of age.

However, with no move forthcoming yet, rumours continue to gather pace that it will just be a matter of time before the Spanish club comes calling for the Frenchman. Whether that happens in this transfer window remains to be seen.

Mbappe, for his part, seems to be concentrating only on France for the moment, helping the team get back to top spot in their Euro 2020 group after their win against Andorra.
