When a player like Cristiano Ronaldo leaves a club, it is obvious that he leaves a huge gaping hole in the team in terms of the sheer personality that the now Juventus hitman has carried around since he bloomed at Manchester United.
While it never looks like Ronaldo dwells on the past, he is certainly missed by the team and its fans that he leaves behind when he choose his next club. Manchester United was part of that list and has now been joined by Real Madrid.
Both clubs have suffered after Ronaldo has left them and off late, there is an interesting stat that he come up with shows exactly how much Los Blancos missed their club legend right from the first game of the season to its last.
As per Transfer Markt, in La Liga this term, Real Madrid have scored 63 goals as compared to the 94 last season that they smashed in when Ronaldo was leading their line at the club. A difference of 31 goals totally made and scored by the Portuguese legend.

It wasn't expected to be so harsh, but it has been a disastrous season for Real Madrid since Ronaldo left as they lost a total of 18 games in all competitions, 12 of them in La Liga, but still went on to come third in the league table as compared to other competitive leagues like the Premier League where Manchester United, who had the worst season in recent times, lost just 10 games and came sixth.
