Former Real Madrid manager, Fabio Capello, has made a huge claim, revealing that the Los Blancos have 500 million to spend on new signings in the summer, amid rumours that the club are planning for a huge overhaul at the end of the season.

The Los Blancos have been linked with moves with the likes of Chelsea's Eden Hazard, Manchester United's Paul Pogba, with a recent report identifying that even Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Christian Eriksen is on their radar.

"I visited Barcelona where a person who knows a lot about Real Madrid told me that Real Madrid is preparing to spend 500 million euros in the summer,” he said, according to Sky Sport Italia, as quoted by Managing Madrid.

It is understood that Madrid will sell a host of high profile stars in the summer, with Gareth Bale, Marcelo, Toni Kroos and Isco among the names being linked with a move away from the Bernabeu.

The Los Blancos manager, Zinedine Zidane recently confirmed that the club will undergo a overhaul in the summer as Madrid look to put their disappointing season behind them, a campaign which has seen them already sack two coaches in Julen Lopetegui and Santiago Solari.

The upcoming summer transfer window is expected to be Madrid's busiest since president Florentino Perez returned back to the helm in 2009 and the club management will look to wrap up the signings as soon as possible, in order to get the new players integrated into the team during pre-season.
