Former Juventus boss Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that he believes Cristiano Ronaldo will continue to play until he is 40 years old, simply because of the level of his fitness.
Ancelotti is of the opinion that Ronaldo boasts the physical and mental qualities required to extend his lifespan in the game considerably ahead of any of his competitors.
Ronaldo has led Juventus to the domestic title crown in Serie A and despite missing out on a spot in the Champions League semi-final, the Portuguese hitman has had a brilliant season on a personal level, once again.
And Ancelotti believes that the Portuguese hitman will continue to perform at the top level till he turns 40. The Italian coach also spoke about youngster Moise Kean, who is being moulded by Ronaldo at Juventus and has a bright future ahead of him.
Starting by speaking about Ronaldo, Ancelotti told Goal, "He'll play up to 40 years old because he not only has a great physique but he has the intelligence, the strength and the determination to improve every day.”
Moving on to speak about Kean and Ronaldo's importance in developing the youngster, Ancelotti said, "I was impressed and surprised by Kean. His beginning of the year was amazing and there's been careful management of the player, on and off the field. He has the good fortune of training with a phenomenon of the calibre of Cristiano."
Kean has been quite a phenomenon since he has been given chances to feature for Juventus whenever Ronaldo needed rest or was injured this season.
