Italian champions Juventus are reported to have rejected the opportunity to sign Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil in any of the upcoming transfer windows because they think that the player is not disciplined enough off the field.

Ozil is said to have fallen out with new manager Unai Emery, who reportedly wants him out of the club and is ready to cash-in on him in January. The 30-year-old German looks like he won't be part of Emery's plans in the long term as the coach seems to have found a way to play and succeed without Ozil.

Inter Milan were said to be linked with Ozil but the player's agents have also approached Juventus over a potential deal that can be struck in January.

However, according to Calciomercato, Juventus immediately declined the chance to sign Ozil. Their report mentions various reasons, one of them being that the Turin based club's chiefs think that the recent fall in Ozil's performances on the field is not the quality they want in their team.

Apart from that, Juventus also believe that Ozil's recent off-the field activities with regards to continuous online gaming leading to an alleged back injury which made him miss the north London derby, is something they consider unprofessional and unfit for a club of their stature.

All of the above, added to the fact that even Unai Emery did not know whether Ozil even turned up for the derby against Spurs, is something that cannot be overlooked. However, the worst of the lot was the report that revealed the picture of Ozil inhaling nitrous oxide in a London club with his Arsenal teammates before the start of the season in August.
