​The man who is always credited with regards to the discovery of ​Lionel Messi and Ronaldinho has sensationally revealed who tipped him regarding the legendary duo.

Josep Maria Minguella undertook Messi's move to ​Barcelona as a youngster and he has now revealed that he had also informed the Catalan giants about Ronaldinho before the legendary Brazilian moved to Paris Saint-Germain.

Minguella was called by an Argentine lawyer by the name of Juan Mateo Walter who alerted him to the talent of a then teenage Ronaldinho.

In a recent revelation as per the report quoted by the ​Mirror, Minguella said that Walter told him, "Here is a player who is a spectacle. Fast and very skillful."

The then Barcelona boss Louis van Gaal then scouted Ronaldinho but the legendary Brazilian did not sparkle in that particular game and the Catalan giants opted not to sign him.

​In the very near future, Rivaldo left for Lazio and Minguella told Barcelona to sign Ronaldinho, who PSG signed for just €5m. Ronaldinho eventually left for Barcelona for €30m two years later.

Regarding Messi, he was enrolled at Barcelona's world-famous La Masia academy at the age of 13 after Minguella's tip to the Catalan giants and the rest as you know, is history.
