New Juventus signing Cristiano Ronaldo has already made his wishes known, reportedly demanding that the club sign Real Madrid left-back Marcelo in the transfer window. According to reports in Spain, Ronaldo believes that the Brazilian would improve the team tremendously.

Sport Mediaset claim that the 33-year-old has asked Juventus president Andrea Agnelli to launch a bid for Marcelo, who he struck up a brilliant partnership with at Madrid and also is said to be one of his closest friends.

Los Blancos for their part though, are not interested in selling the left-back as he is an integral part of their side, with his release clause of £160 million a tad bit high for the Serie A champions, who have broke the bank to sign Ronaldo in the first place.

Their current left-back Alex Sandro, despite missing out on Brazil's squad for the World Cup at Russia, is highly rated with a number of top European clubs including Manchester United and Chelsea keen to sign him.

Juventus will not sell the star for anything less than £70 million and if a deal does go through, they could probably use that money to sign a left-back, though it looks unlikely that they will cater to Ronaldo's whims as the price is just too high for Marcelo.
