In an official club release, Sanchez spoke of a 'great career move' that will see the defender sign a six-year deal with last season's Premier League runners-up.
"This is a massive opportunity for me because of what Tottenham represent, not just here in England but around the world," said the latest Spurs signing.
"It's a huge step forward in my career and will allow me to continue developing and achieving great things. This is a great chance."
The defender could make his debut this weekend, as the north London outfit take on Burnley at Wembley stadium.
