Real Madrid have been linked with Paul Pogba for a long time now. Indeed, the Blancos were among the clubs interested in acquiring his services in the summer of 2016 but the Frenchman opted to go back to Manchester United.

It has been reported that the Merengues were put off by the huge demands of Mino Raiola and since then, Florentino Perez isn’t a fan of the way the super-agent conducts his business.

On his part, Raiola, at the time, thought that Madrid lacked the conviction and desire to sign Pogba as the Galacticos weren’t willing to meet the wage demands of the Frenchman.

However, the relationship between the two parties seems to have improved a bit now. While Perez is still not a fan of Raiola, the agent has a great relationship with Madrid’s general director Jose Angel Sanchez and that has eased the communication between the two parties.

Last summer, Madrid signed Alphonse Areola on loan and the French goalkeeper is a client of Mino Raiola. According to AS, this has also helped in building a relationship between Raiola and Madrid.

The agent has two clients who have attracted the interest of Madrid: Paul Pogba and Erling Haaland. According to the report, the chances of Madrid signing both of them will remain high if their relationship with Raiola is fluid.
