​Manchester United have held talks with Paris Saint-Germain right-back Thomas Meunier ahead of a move this summer, according to French newspaper outlet La Dernière Heure, as reported by ​Daily Mail.


The Red Devils are reportedly looking at a large overhaul of stars as soon as the transfer window starts, as manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been entrusted with a massive transfer budget. 


Fans have had to cope with Antonio Valencia, formerly a right winger, and Ashley Young, formerly a left winger at right-back in the last 2-3 seasons. Despite recruiting exciting young Diego Dalot from Porto last summer, he hasn't shown the maturity needed to start games in England yet. 



The Norwegian's first transfer target for right back was the young ​Crystal Palace right back Aaron Wan-Bissaka, but United have been priced out of the deal, as their asking price was €70 million, and they reportedly think that it is not a risk worth taking. 


Thomas Meunier on the other hand, is athletic, technically blessed and gives his all on the pitch. The Belgian international will brings loads of European experience to the Manchester outfit. Meunier will reportedly be available to United at a cut-price €25 million, as Le Parisien having being reduced to second choice behind young German defender Thilo Kehrer.
