Dani Alves says he would 'bet the Eiffel Tower' that Neymar will still be a PSG player next season.

Real Madrid are reportedly interested in Neymar but the ex-Barcelona right-back is adamant that his compatriot will remain at the Ligue 1 club. The Brazilian has been out injured for a large portion of the campaign and watched from the sidelines as Thomas Tuchel's side were knocked out of the Champions League by Manchester United.

Despite the Ligue 1 dominance and retention of their crown, it is silverware in Europe's top competition that excites Neymar, according to Alves.

"He has to take advantage of his free time to think about what he can do to make everything bigger, better, and to be in a better place. He's not happy with the results, and unless they change he won't be happy."

The 27-year-old joined Le Parisien from Barcelona in a world record £198 million transfer back in 2017 and any attempt to lure him away from the Ligue 1 Champions would surely command an exorbitant fee.

When asked if he would bet a dinner that Neymar would stay, he told ESPN: "A dinner is not enough. Should I bet the Eiffel Tower? I believe that he will stay with PSG."

Neymar will look to lead the attack for the Selecao in the Copa America next month in their opening match against Bolivia, as they look to wrest back the trophy from current winners Chile.
