Max Allegri's announcement with regards to ending his association with Juventus on Friday meant that the Bianconeri will be looking for a new coach before the summer transfer window kicks off in the Serie A.
While the chase for appointing a new head coach begins, news outlet Football Italia has revealed that Juventus' star hitman Cristiano Ronaldo has approached Juve chiefs to urge them to reunite him with former Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti.
Ronaldo and Ancelotti were part of the same setup together between 2013 and 2015 when the Italian helped Real Madrid in winning La Decima, which in-turn led to a flurry of Champions League trophies at Los Blancos in the years to come.
Cristiano Ronaldo has spoken to Juventus and told them exactly who he wants as manager next season... 😳— SPORTbible (@sportbible) May 18, 2019
This would be a brilliant appointment! 😍👏https://t.co/Lp9rceLnau
However, Ancelotti's contract in Naples runs until 2021 and it seems unlikely that he'd leave for Juventus after just one year in charge.
Regarding Allegri, after winning five consecutive Serie A titles with Juventus, the Italian coach chose to call it a day and move on into the next step of his career after this season. Allegri's most recent title this season has been one of the easiest and with two games left they lead Napoli by 13 points.
Meanwhile, Mauricio Pochettino's incredible run to the final of the Champions League with Tottenham this season has also made him a runner for Juventus' head coach's position whereas multiple fans think Antonio Conte will return to Turin.
