Jose Mourinho

3 Potential Clubs Jose Mourinho Might Move to in the Summer

Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho's trophy laden career has come to a potential standstill, after being fired from the Manchester United job in December following a 3-1 loss to fierce rivals Liverpool in the Premier League. The Liverpool result was the final straw in what had been yet another problematic third season for the legendary manager in what has been described as the "third-season" syndrome

But a fired Mourinho will never stay fired, as his reputation speaks volumes about what he is, and he still has the pulling power to attract the best European clubs in the world. Here are three realistic destinations for Jose Mourinho in the summer.

3. Paris Saint-Germain

Despite Thomas Tuchel being able to establish an excellent style of play and ensuring Paris Saint-Germain won another Ligue 1 trophy, the board would certainly not be happy with their loss to Manchester United in the Champions League round of 16.

For a club who's recruitment is entirely based on the fact that they need to win the coveted continental prize, they could certainly turn to Jose Mourinho who has already won the prize twice with two different clubs.

2. Juventus

With Massimiliano Allegri all set to leave Juventus this summer after 5 successful domestic seasons, the Bianconeri will be looking for a new manager, and are hence linked to every top European coach in the world.

With their ambitions of winning the Champions League ending up in another grand failure despite signing Cristiano Ronaldo, they will be looking for the best of the best, and they do not need to look further than the currently employed Portuguese manager.

Having a track record of upsets and imposing defensive counter attacking styles to perfection, Jose Mourinho might turn out to be the right hire for the club.

1. Inter Milan

Mourinho is still well loved in Inter Milan, by fans and owners alike, and would be welcomed back with open arms by both. His style of play has a proven success rate at the club and is one that the fans and owners are comfortable with as well.Inter have invested heavily in recent years and have a decent squad as a result of it.

The treble winner could be the man to bring that together to bring the good times back to the San Siro. With Mauro Icardi announcing that he will be staying at the Nerazzuri club after all, Jose will also have a world-class striker and a real leader in his hands.
