​​AC Milan are open to selling young goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma in the summer transfer window, according to reports coming in from Italy ​as reported by Calciomercato.


The Rossoneri face budget deficit of €80 million could look to sell one of their prized assets, with Donnarumma’s time in Milan is coming to an end if the reports in Italy are to be believed. 


The 20-year-old is one of the star performers at the club this season and has put in a number of stellar performances for them so far. 



With Milan fighting against Atalanta for the 4th place, i.e, the final ​Champions League spot, in the ​Serie A, they also face a financial deficit, meaning that they have to sell some key players next season. 


Among those linked out of the club, Lucas Biglia and Gianluigi Donnarumma have been vital for the Rossoneri so far this season, and might play their final game at the San Siro on Sunday, against Frosinone. 


It is believed that French giants Paris Saint Germain will look to sign the highly-rated goalkeeper for up to €55 million as a replacement for ageing Gianluigi Buffon, whose contract in France expires at the end of the season. 


Gianluigi Donnarumma has represented AC Milan in 34 matches in the league campaign this season, keeping 11 clean sheets.
