Barcelona talisman, Lionel Messi wants the club to ring in certain changes as he looks to put their humiliating exit at the hands of Liverpool from the UEFA Champions League behind him and renew their challenge in Europe next season.
According to Diario Gol, the 31-year-old wants the club to overhaul the squad as he does not see a future at the club for the likes of Rafinha Alcantara, Denis Suarez, Andre Gomes and Marc Cucurella, which he believes would help the club get anything between €120-€140 million for the players.

Meanwhile, he wants the club hierarchy to go all out in the summer and sign Joshua Kimmich from Bayern Munich, while also hoping to see Ajax starlet, Matthijs de Ligt at the Nou Camp ahead of next season.
Another name added to the mix is Antoine Griezmann who recently confirmed that he will leave Atletico Madrid in the summer. The Frenchman though will be very expensive as Atletico would look to quote anything in excess of €120m for his signature.
While these signings would surely strengthen the squad, it is unlikely that Barcelona would sign all of the mentioned players as they would need to generate enough funds for that. One way though would be to offload Philippe Coutinho, who has been linked with a move away from the club after what has been a disappointing season by his high standards.
