Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale has reportedly informed Los Blancos supremo Florentino Perez through his agent that the Welshman desires to continue to stay on at the club and see out the full duration of his contract.

Bale last signed a contract extension at Real Madrid in the year 2016 and since then, he has faced multiple occasions of discontent from the club's fans, more so, over the past couple of seasons as injury and a lack of form have kind of soared the relationship between him and Los Blancos faithfuls. The club are also said to have been thinking of a loan move away from Madrid for Bale.

However, Spanish outlet AS report that Bale remains determined to turn things around at Madrid, who has kind of forgotten that he has helped them win three Champions League titles, a Liga and a Copa del Rey, with decisive moments in three finals of both knock-out competitions.

Whether Madrid decide to cash in on Bale remains to be seen as they know that this is probably the last time they can receive a hefty sum in return for the Welshman in the transfer market.

Since Zidane took over Los Blancos once again, Bale has started three Liga games but has been on the bench for the rest three matches, thus getting just nine minutes of action in the Leganes draw and 20 minutes in last weekend's match against Athletic.
