One of the most in-demand footballers on the planet, Joao Felix has another suitor in the form of Atletico Madrid, who are bracing themselves for the departure of star Frenchman Antoine Griezmann.

According to Spanish website  AS, who quote Portuguese daily Record, the Atletico star is set to accept an offer to leave Madrid this summer, with the club banking his buy-out clause which will drop down to 120 million euros on July 1.

Apart from that, the report quotes multiple outlets from Portugal who indicate that Benfica have already rejected an offer of €75m from Juventus, who are said to be willing to sell Dybala in order to make room for the Portuguese youngster.

Atletico will also face competition from the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester United in the race to sign Felix. However, Benfica are said to be desperate in order to hold on to their superstar youngster, who went into the record books to become the youngest player to score a hat-trick in the Europa League.

It is said that Benfica want to tie Felix down to a new contract which would include a buy-out clause of 200m but his agent Jorge Mendes has refused to agree to it on the player's behalf. And now, with Atletico circling, this summer could indeed see many top clubs competing with each other for Felix's signature on the dotted line.
