7 Footballers Who Are Addicted to Fortnite

Fortnite has been a very popular game since it was released two years ago. Gamers from around the world have been playing the game on a regular basis, and footballers are no exception either. In fact, a few of the top footballers are avid Fortnite players as well.

Here, we take a look at seven football players who are addicted to Fortnite:

7. Mesut Ozil (Arsenal)

Mesut Ozil may have had some trouble adjusting to the new work culture under Arsenal manager Unai Emery, but that has not stopped him from playing Fortnite.

Ozil has racked up over 1700 hours of game play, and even a back injury during the season was linked with the hours he spent playing Fortnite, but never confirmed.

6. Zlatan Ibrahimovic (LA Galaxy)

Zlatan Ibrahimovic brought his larger than life attitude that he has on the football pitch to the Fortnite arena, even streaming his game on Twitch when he was playing alongside his brother.

The former Manchester United and now LA Galaxy forward ensured that the 17-minute clip was filled with humour, even going on to jokingly suggest that Fortnite cannot bring in a Zlatan character as they cannot afford him.

5. Antoine Griezmann (Atletico Madrid)

Antoine Griezmann is an accomplished forward and was an important member of the France team that won the World Cup in the summer of 2018.

The Atletico Madrid striker takes a great interest in other sports as well, including Fortnite. The Frenchman even uses the Take The L dance from the game in celebrations after he has scored a goal, showing how much he loves the game.

4. Dele Alli (Tottenham Hotspur)

Dele Alli has been playing regularly for Tottenham Hotspur and England, but he is also a big fan of Fortnite.

The Englishman plays the game very regularly, and also broadcasts his game play as well for fans to see. He even pulled out a Fortnite dance move in England's World Cup game against Sweden.

3. Dani Carvajal (Real Madrid)

Dani Carvajal plays as a right-back for Real Madrid, and has helped the team win four Champions League titles in the last five years.

Not only is he an accomplished footballer, he is also a good gamer, and plays Fortnite regularly, sharing images from it on social media. He is a fan of the game Call of Duty as well.

2. Sergi Roberto (Barcelona)

Another right-back who is addicted to Fortnite is Barcelona's Sergi Roberto. The Spaniard is an avid player of the game and has frequently streamed it while he was playing.

The midfielder is so good at the game that he even faced off against some famous Youtubers as well.

1. Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur)

Another Spurs player who is addicted to Fortnite is Harry Kane. The English international scores on the pitch and is equally effective while playing Fortnite too.

In fact, Kane and Alli sometimes form a team in the game and play together as well, forming a partnership on and off the field.
