Enzo Zidane, son of France legend Zidane Zidane and midfielder at Rayo Majadahonda, has revealed that he is happy to see his father return as the manager of Real Madrid, believing that he can come out the best again.
Zidane had resigned as the manager of the club at the end of last season after guiding them to their third consecutive Champions League title, but the Frenchman returned in less than 10 months after the club had indifferent results despite having two managers this season.
His son Enzo has said that he is happy for his father and trusts that he can do well once again for the club that he has had most success with.
"I'm happy, like any son with his father," Enzo Zidane told Sport, according to Goal. "I hope he comes out the best he can, I trust in his work and I support him as always."
He added: "[He] always makes decisions with his heart and it worked out like that. When you do things with your heart they go well and I'm sure it will be great. If Real Madrid are now in good hands, I do not have the answer to that. It's the people who speak, I'm happy as a son and as a Madrid fan."
It remains to be seen if the Frenchman can replicate the same success he had with the club in his first stint as manager. Madrid are currently in doldrums as their season will finish with a dull end and without any trophies.
