Brazilian superstar Philippe Coutinho has hinted that he is open to move away from Barcelona and return to the Premier League in the near future.

The pacy midfielder has been subject to intense speculation in the past few months with Chelsea and Manchester United showing keen interest in signing him in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Coutinho left Liverpool to join Barcelona just over a year ago, but so far has failed to come anywhere near the form that he showed at Anfield.

The 26-year-old Brazilian was on the score-sheet as Barcelona ran rampant over Lyon in the UEFA Champions League round-of-16.

Metro report that many Barca stars have offered their support to Coutinho but in his recent interview after his team's win against Lyon, the former Liverpool man fuelled speculation as he said, "In the last few weeks, months even, I’ve not been playing well. But I still want to improve."

He continued, "I came to Barcelona to give my best. I live for the moment. You never know what the future holds. I am happy with my performance today."

Meanwhile, Barcelona qualified for the quarter-final of the Champions League and now await the draw to find out who they will meet in the last eight stage of this coveted tournament.
