Argentina and Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi has confirmed that he wants his wife Wanda Nara to continue working as his agent for the rest of his career, amid reports that the Italian club want to deal with a different agent.

Icardi along with Nara have been in discussions with Inter over the extension of his contract with the club, though it is being claimed that the Italian giants want to deal with a different agent over a possible deal.

"It'll always be Wanda who takes care of my and our interests until the end of my career," Icardi said on Instagram.

The 25-year-old who's contract with Inter still has more than two years to run is arguably their most important player as seen by his performances on the pitch, with the striker netting 22,16, 24 and 29 goals in the Serie A over the past four seasons.

Icardi's form has seen him being linked with a number of top European clubs including the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester United, which is one of the reasons why Inter want to extend his contract and ensure that he stays with them as they look to recapture their past glories.

Despite his exploits on the pitch, he is seen as a controversial figure by the media thanks to his marriage with Nara, who was previously married to his former Sampdoria teammate Maxi Lopez.
