Picking the Best Potential Cardiff City Lineup to Face Huddersfield on Saturday

Cardiff City host Huddersfield Town at the Cardiff City Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Bluebirds are looking to return to winning ways, after Bristol City  knocked them out in the FA Cup third round last Saturday.

Kenneth Zahore is Neil Warnock's only doubt, though Victor Camarasa is one of the few players who are doubts for the weekend.

Here is 90min's look at the best potential Cardiff City lineup to face Huddersfield Town in the Premier League

1. Goalkeeper and Defenders

Neil Etheridge (GK) - Etheridge will retain his starting place on Saturday, as Cardiff's number one searches for his sixth clean sheet of the season and his second in three league games in the trip to Huddersfield.

Bruno Ecuele Manga (RB) - Ecuele has made more appearances than any player this season, playing 22 times for Cardiff. He has one goal and one assist, and is certain to play in Saturday's Premier League clash.

Sol Bamba (CB) - Bamba has played 20 times at the back this season, and is a solid starter for Neil Warnock. However he must be cautious against Huddersfield, as he stands one booking away from a one-match suspension.

Sean Morrison (CB) - Morrison will partner up with Bamba in defence, making his 22nd appearance of the season. The Cardiff captain is remarkably joint first for assists this campaign, having provided three assists from centre-back.

Greg Cunningham (LB) - Although he has only made eight appearances since signing from Preston last summer, Cunningham is now a crucial part of Cardiff's defence and is likely to start on Saturday.

2. Midfielders

Aron Gunnarsson (DM) - Gunnarsson will likely play as the bridge between defence and midfield, making his 14th appearance of the season. The Iceland international has been key for Cardiff, and will need a solid performance if the Bluebirds are to take all three points.

Junior Hoilett (RW) - Hoilett has made 18 appearances this season. However the Canadian hasn't scored in four outings, as he looks to add to his season tally of three goals.

Harry Arter (CM) - Arter has also made 18 appearances during the campaign, sitting in the centre of midfield. The former Bournemouth man will likely start for the visit of Huddersfield, just in front of Gunnarsson.

Victor Camarasa (CM) - Cardiff's match winner against Leicester two weeks ago, Camarasa has been excellent for the Bluebirds. The Spaniard has three goals and two assists this season, though is one yellow card away from picking up a suspension.

Junior Hoilett (RW) - Hoilett has made 18 appearances this season. However the Canadian hasn't scored in four outings, as he looks to add to his season tally of three goals.

3. Forward

Callum Paterson (ST) - Despite traditionally being a central midfielder, Paterson has been leading the line for Cardiff on numerous occasions this season. The Scotsman is the Bluebirds top goalscorer this campaign with four goals, and will be eager to add to his tally on Saturday.
