New Chelsea signing Christian Pulisic is excited about joining the Premier League giants, revealing that his high fee shows just how much the club wanted him, which is an encouraging sign.

The Blues paid Borussia Dortmund 64 million for the services of the 20-year-old, which is a world record fee for an American player. However, Pulisic will only link up with his new club in the summer after he was loaned back to Dortmund for the remainder of the season.

Despite the sale, the midfielder has insisted that he will give his all for the German side as they look to end Bayern Munich's hegemony in the Bundesliga this season.

"I've been here and playing with Dortmund the whole time and I've been focused here, but I'll be really excited once the time comes. I'm really happy with my decision at the moment. I don't have any regrets. I'm really excited, but yeah. The best thing is I get to finish out a strong season here. After that, I can move on to this next step," Pulisic said as quoted by ESPN.

The USA international who is considered to be one of the best young talents in the world was snapped up by Dortmund in 2015 and since then has appeared 115 times for them so far, scoring 15 goals.
