​India's AFC Asian Cup group A rivals Thailand have announced their 27-man initial squad for the tournament that will take place in UAE.

The Blue Tigers have been grouped with Thailand, hosts UAE and Bahrain in the showpiece tournament.

Stephen Constantine's men will begin their AFC Asian Cup adventure against Thailand on January 6 next year hoping to make a great start to the tournament in which they do have a chance to reach the knockout phase if they play to their potential.

Thailand meanwhile, have readied their initial team for the tournament which includes a mix of experienced stars and upcoming youngsters.
