Bayern Munich and Barcelona are the only two top clubs among the footballing giants who offer the cheapest season tickets in Europe with not a single Premier League club featuring in the top 20, with the La Liga, Serie A, Ligue 1 and Bundesliga sides offering much more value for money.
Spanish side Leganes offer the cheapest season tickets all over Europe, with the tickets costing £98 for all of their 19 home games in the La Liga, while Bayern surprisingly come in fifth, offering a season ticket for just £125.
The Catalan giants are next footballing giant to offer relatively cheap tickets for £149, a steal considering the talent they have on offer and looking at the history of the club.
However, the cheapest tickets on offer in Europe come in the French league as 10 of the 26 teams offer season tickets for £160 or under.
The Premier League is relatively expensive as the cheapest ticket costs £299 and is offered by minnows Huddersfield. Arsenal's cheapest season tickets cost a massive £891 with 11 other English sides offering a ticket for nothing cheaper than 500.
There is no doubt that English top-flight football is awash with money and offers exctement with some of the best players and managers present, though it certainly comes at a price.
