The latest round of Football Leaks' documents have revealed the astronomical transfer fees pocketed by N'Golo Kante's agents during the Frenchman's move to Chelsea from Leicester City.

Kante left the Foxes to join Chelsea in 2016 for a fee of 38 million euros. However, the Blues also ended up paying his agents' insane fee, something that also caught the club off-guard.

AS cite an expose by Football Leaks as they state that the player's agents, Gregory Dakad and Abdelkarim Douis, pocketed a total of 12 million euros between them from the deal that took Kante to Chelsea. Gregory earned seven million euros whereas Douis pocketed the remaining five million euros.

The agents' commissions came up to one-third of the player's total transfer fee, which surprised Chelsea. And in an email obtained by Football Leaks, club director Maria Granovskaia told Roma Abramovich 'not to faint' when she broke the news of agent fees to him.

While this does come as a surprise and Chelsea did take a huge hit to the balance sheet with this move, they would not mind it right now as Kante has established himself as one of the best defensive midfielders in the world, more so after his incredible performance with the French national team in their World Cup triumph in Russia.
