Sweden superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic has picked his favourite goal among the nearly 500 strikes he has netted throughout a career spanning almost 20 years. The 36-year-old chose his outrageous overhead volley against England in 2012 as the best.

Ibrahimovic scored four goals against the Three Lions in a friendly back in 2012, but it is the last one which will be remembered forever.

The striker performed something spectacular as he got under a poor headed clearance from Joe Hart and without letting the ball hit the ground, volleyed the ball with a overhead flying kick into goal from 35 yards out.

It is arguably one of the best goals scored in the history of the game with Zlatan claiming that he picked it over the others not only because of the skill involved, but also because of the opponent.

"I scored some goals that people will remember, but the one that they will remember forever is the one against England, because of the relationship with the English. In the beginning they were saying, they were talking. I give them a gift for life," he said as quoted by ESPN.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is Sweden's all-time record goalscorer with 62 goals from 116 appearances and is arguably the greatest ever player to come out of their shores.
