Bordeaux have not yet agreed a deal with Inter Milan for Malcolm, according to the player's agent Fernando Garcia, but won't rule out a loan move followed by a permanent transfer. Inter have been one of the clubs that were interested in the forward, with Tottenham Hotspur also in the hunt for the Brazilian.

However, it seems like Spurs will have to look somewhere else as the Italian club are in prime position to land the player.

“The two clubs, Inter and Bordeaux, still need to reach an agreement,” agent Fernando Garcia told FCInter1908.it, according to Football Italia.

“Until the two clubs agree terms, we cannot agree personal terms for the player. It’s up to the clubs first.”

It, however, looks like Inter only want to take the player on loan for the time being, seeing as they have already spent 30 million in this transfer window and may be looking for more players to strengthen their squad.

The French club want to sell him outright and Garcia is hopeful that a compromise can be reached between the two.

“Bordeaux intend to sell him. Any player in the world would immediately accept a move to Inter. I can rule out a dry loan, but I won’t rule out a loan with obligation to buy,” Garcia added.

Malcolm was one of the best players in Ligue 1 last season and he will be hoping to replicate his form wherever he ends up, irrespective of whether that is Inter Milan or in England with Spurs.
