Real Madrid's Brazilian midfielder Casemiro has finally responded to comments made by Barcelona legend Xavi a few months ago.

In a pretty serious interview with El Pais in January, Xavi went on record to talk about some of the major style differences between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona in which he took a dig at Casemiro.

Xavi had said, "At Barcelona we understand football as a time-space concept. Busquets, Messi and Iniesta are masters of this. They always know what to do when they are alone or surrounded."

He then targeted Casemiro in comparison to the Barca midfielders and stated, "There are midfielders like Casemiro that don't understand this, but at the same time, Busquets can't cover like Casemiro."

Continuing his analysis of Casemiro, Xavi continued, "He's incredibly fast, but he has a difficult time with everything else because he hasn't worked on it. He has other skills and is more of a defensive player."

Casemiro, who has been linked with a move to PSG recently, has finally responded to these comments and told on radio show El Larguero, "He (Xavi) can say anything he wants to, but I've been here [Real Madrid] for four years and played in four Champions League finals."

The Brazilian midfielder concluded by hitting the nail right on the head as he said, "I couldn't sign for Barca, as I can't play football the way Xavi wants. I am with Madrid until death."
