Barcelona ace, Ousmane Dembele, has cleared the air of speculation regarding his future at the club, saying he'd be at Barcelona "for a long time."

The Frenchman is considered to be one of the finest youngsters in the game right now, but he hasn't quite made his mark at Barcelona, yet. He has struggled with a number of injuries since his move and has been forced to warm the bench more often than he'd have wanted. He has managed just 12 league appearances this season, starting only in 7 of them.

Despite the overwhelming odds, Dembele is determined to make his mark, saying that he wouldn't just pack his bags and leave after having just one disappointing season.

"I'm not going to leave after just one season," he told Telefoot, as quoted by Goal

"I signed a five-year contract with Barcelona. I'll be here for a long time."

The arrival of Philippe Coutinho has made it more difficult for Dembele to break into the first team, but Dembele looked eerily optimistic about his chances, revealing he's glad to have the Brazilian at the club.

"It's Barca. It's like that. I'm glad that [Philippe] Coutinho has come in," he added.

The €105 million man needs to go a long way to justify his hefty price tag. However, if reports are to be believed, Barcelona are moving hard and fast to secure Antoine Griezmann's services, which would complicate things further for the young Frenchman.
