Leading football statistic portal CIES has revealed their research on European league footballers whose transfer prices have seen the biggest rise since September last year.
The data displayed by CIES football observatory shows the most effective players from all of Europe's top five leagues as per their algorithm.
Here are the top 20 players whose transfer prices have massively soared in the past few months:
20. Trent Alexander-Arnold - Liverpool
The impressive Liverpool full-back has repaid the faith put in him by German coach Jurgen Klopp and has been one of the most impressive defenders in the league this season.
At just 19, Alexander-Arnold has cemented his spot in Liverpool's team and is consistently coming up with great performances in the Premier League this season.
The defender who was valued at €6.3m in September, is now valued at an estimated €36.7m under the current transfer market valuation.
19. Maximiliano Gomez - Celta Vigo
The Celta Vigo forward has been in great form this season and has impressed whenever his team have needed him the most.
Gomez has already scored 14 goals and provided three assists for his teammates in 27 games in La Liga this season.
The Uruguayan star was valued at a mere €3m at the beginning of this season, but is now worth €34.3m, if he does interest top clubs in Europe.
18. Rony Lopes - AS Monaco
Monaco continues to produce stars despite the sale of most of their stars and Rony Lopes is another talent who has shone for the French club this season.
The striker, who can also play on the left-wing, was valued at €9.6m at the beginning of this season but any club showing interest in Lopes will have to shell out €41.7m to sign him.
Lopes has scored 11 and assisted 12 goals for Monaco in 40 games this season.
17. Kalidou Koulibaly - SSC Napoli
Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly has been in imperious form this season and is one of the reasons why Napoli are breathing down Juventus' neck in the Serie A title chase.
The centre-back, who was valued at €43.6m at the beginning of the campaign, is now valued at €76.2m.
Koulibaly has made a total of 37 appearances for the Partenopei this season, scoring four goals and providing an assist for the Italian side.
16. Raheem Sterling - Manchester City
One of the pillars of Pep Guardiola's revolution at Manchester City, Raheem Sterling has been inspirational in leading the Citizens to the top of the pile in the Premier League.
The England international was earlier valued at €106.8m, at the beginning of this campaign, and is now valued at a mammoth €140.3m.
Sterling, who can also play as a right-winger, has scored 20 goals in the season up until now in all competitions. He has also been of great help to his teammates, assisting 11 goals in what seems like a title-winning performance.
15. Jesse Lingard - Manchester United
At the beginning of the season, no one could have guessed that Jesse Lingard could turn out to be one of the most important players at Manchester United.
However, that is exactly what has happened, with the English forward coming up with 13 goals and five assists for the Red Devils this season.
Lingard was valued at €20m at the beginning of this season. His value in the transfer market has now shot up to €54.8m.
Apart from his goalscoring contributions, the 25-year-old has been instrumental in United's build-up play leading to an improvement in the performances of the whole squad.
14. Nabil Fekir - Lyon
Lyon talisman Nabil Fekir has been in the news for his brilliant return to form this season and is already being targeted by multiple clubs in the upcoming summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old has scored 21 and assisted six goals in 34 appearances across all competitions up until now.
His rise to fame in Europe has seen his value increase from €31.7m at the beginning of this season to €66.8m.
13. Harry Maguire - Leicester City
Leicester City defender Harry Maguire has been an inspirational figure for his team who find themselves in the top half of the Premier League table.
Maguire has made 35 appearances for the club. The England international has also helped his team in attack, scoring two goals and assisting three goals for the Foxes.
The former Hull City centre-back has seen his value shoot up from €19.3m to €54.7m.
12. Dayot Upamecano - RB Leipzig
A centre-back who can also play in central midfield, Dayot Upamecano has enjoyed a brilliant campaign with the German side up till now.
Upamecano has made 31 appearances for RB Leipzig in this campaign. Although his team have disappointed, he has been one of the top performers for them this season.
Leipzig know that sooner or later, a top club will eventually bid for their star man. Considering the current market scenario, the Frenchman, who was originally valued at €16.7m in September, would be worth around €52.3m in the summer.
11. Alisson Becker - AS Roma
Serie A side, AS Roma's Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson Becker has had one of the best seasons up till now.
Targeted by multiple clubs across Europe including Liverpool, Alisson has featured 28 times for Roma and kept 15 clean-sheets in total.
The custodian was valued at €7.7m at the beginning of this campaign but would cost a mammoth €45.2m in the summer transfer window.
10. Florian Thauvin - Marseille
French side Marseille's Florian Thauvin makes the top 10 of the list of players who have seen their transfer value increase the most this season.
The Frenchman, who plays as a right-winger, has scored 18 goals and assisted another 16 in 42 games for his team.
Thauvin was valued at €43.9m at the beginning of this season and it is estimated that by the end of the season, he will be valued at around €82.3m.
9. Sergej Milinkovic-Savic - SS Lazio
One of the most impressive midfielders in Europe at the moment, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is slowly but surely making a name for himself in the world of football.
The Manchester United target has managed to score 11 goals and assist another seven goals for Lazio this season.
Considering his form, Milinkovic-Savic, who was initially valued at €29.8m, is now worth a mammoth €70.5m for teams that intend to intend to sign the 23-year-old in the summer.
8. Davinson Sanchez - Tottenham Hotspur
Spurs signed Davinson Sanchez from Ajax last summer and almost instantly, the Colombian has made himself an integral part of Mauricio Pochettino's setup in North London.
Statistically speaking, Sanchez has made 34 appearances for Spurs this season, scoring one goal, but has provided stability to the team in the long-term absence of Toby Alderweireld.
Considering his performances for Spurs, Sanchez has seen his value increase from €35.4m to €77.6m through the course of his first season in England.
7. Paulinho Bezerra - FC Barcelona
Surely one of the best signings of the season, FC Barcelona star Paulinho has been nothing short of a revelation for the Catalan giants.
The Brazilian, signed on from the Chinese Super League, and raised some eyebrows when Barcelona announced his arrival. However, he has managed to prove everyone wrong.
The former Spurs man has featured in 39 games for Barcelona, scoring eight goals and assisting another two for Ernesto Valverde's side.
Initially valued at €10m in September last year, Paulinho would now cost €52.4m to any prospective buyers.
6. Joe Gomez - Liverpool
Interestingly, Liverpool full-back Joe Gomez is sixth on this list. He has been quite brilliant for the Reds since Jurgen Klopp introduced him into the first team.
In 28 appearances for the Reds this season, Gomez has provided two assists but his overall contribution to the Liverpool team makes him a very valuable member of Klopp's squad.
At the beginning of this season, Gomez was valued at a mere €9m and as of now, his value has shot up to €57.3m.
5. Gabriel Jesus - Manchester City
One of the most exciting young players in world football, Brazilian superstar Gabriel Jesus has been quite an amazing investment made by Manchester City.
Jesus has made 32 appearances for Pep Guardiola's side, scoring 11 goals and assisting another five across all competitions this season.
At just 20, Jesus, who was signed for a mind-boggling €52.8m, is now well worth around €106m.
4. Kylian Mbappe - Paris Saint-Germain
French striker Kylian Mbappe was valued at around €133.8m in the summer, when Paris Saint-Germain signed him on a loan deal, with the promise of a permanent move in the upcoming summer.
However, the 19-year-old superstar's incredible performances for the French league leaders has already caused a major rise in his overall value.
It is estimated that by the end of this season, Mbappe will be well worth €188.5m.
3. Leroy Sane - Manchester City
One of the most consistently incredible performers in the Premier League this season, German starlet Leroy Sane is third on the list after seeing an astronomical rise in value over the course of this season.
Sane has managed to score 12 and assist 15 goals for Manchester City in all competitions this season.
The 22-year-old, who was valued at around €88.2m at the beginning of the season, is now worth €151.2m in the current transfer market scenario.
2. Ederson Moraes - Manchester City
One of four Manchester City stars to feature on this list, Ederson has been quite a wonderful investment made by Pep Guardiola.
The Brazilian goalkeeper was signed when the only drawback that the Citizens had was the absence of a proper number one. Since Ederson's arrival, Manchester City have been rock solid at the back.
Not only his presence, but his skill on the ball makes him an invaluable asset to Guardiola.
His performances this season have seen his stock rise from a mere €24.3m in September 2017 to €98.7m as of March 2018.

25-year-old Salah, who was signed from AS Roma in the summer, has scored 32 and assisted 11 goals for Liverpool in 40 games across all competitions this season.
Concurrent to his performances, his transfer value has soared up to a whole new level and Liverpool fans would be happy to see this considering Real Madrid's interest in the Egyptian.
Valued at €88m after joining Liverpool in the summer, Salah is now worth a mind-boggling €162.8m in the current transfer market index. Any suitors?
