​Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has revealed that he is unsure of his future, amid ​repeated links with La Liga giants Real Madrid. The Belgian has spoken of his respect for the current European champions in the past which has led to rumours of an impending move.

Courtois though admitted that he is yet to decide on his future plans but reitarated that he is happy at Stamford Bridge.

"I'm not clear about my future, but what I said that my heart is in Madrid was misunderstood. 

I have two children in Spain, in Madrid, and that's not easy. I do not think Florentino Perez calls me, but he will call my agent and he will listen to him. But I still have one year left [on my contract] and I'm happy and talking to Chelsea. They have bet on me from the first moment and that is not forgotten", ​he said post their 1-1 draw with Barcelona in the first leg of the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League.

The 25-year-old who is widely considered as one of the best goalkeepers in the world and has been very impressive for the Blues ever since moving to Stamford Bridge in 2014.

Courtois has made 143 appearances in all competitions for the club, helping them win two Premier League titles.
