Chelsea and reported Manchester United target Alex Sandro has opened up about his future amid links with the two Premier League clubs, revealing that "he feels real good and is satisfied with his condition at Juventus."
The Brazilian star has been repeatedly linked with a move to Chelsea with the Blues reportedly even offering €70 million for his services only for Juventus to knock back the offer. It was believed that Antonio Conte was desperate to add the left-back to his ranks but eventually the London club ran out of patience, thereby signing Emerson Palmieri in the January transfer window.
Alex Sandro: "It’s normal for a player to have dips in form, but I never listened to the rumours about me. I always remained concentrated on my work and my only thought has always been Juventus, as I have another two years on my contract." pic.twitter.com/KPpOQJRZdY— Juvefc.com (@juvefcdotcom) February 16, 2018
The Red Devils too are keen to sign the Brazilian, however Sandro has insisted that he is only concentrating on putting on good performances for the Italian club at the moment.
"I have always remained focused on my work and my only thought has always been Juventus, with whom I still have two years of contract. I feel really good and I am satisfied with my condition today", Sandro said to Gazzetta dello Sport, as quoted by Football.london.
“My goal is first of all to win everything with Juventus. Then the World Cup will come and I hope to deserve a call in the Seleçao by doing well here", he added.
The 27-year-old who moved to the Serie A from Porto has established himself as one of the best left-backs in the world, making 101 appearances for Juventus so far, winning two Serie A titles and two Coppa Italia's with them.
