Premier League legend Thierry Henry insists that while his heart wants to see Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah to win the Premier League Golden Boot, it will be Harry Kane who will claim the prize in the end.

Salah has been pivotal in Liverpool's exciting season up till now which sees them in third place on the Premier League table, just behind Manchester United.

Egyptian hero Salah is now just one goal behind Harry Kane, who is said to be in the best form of his life but will face stern competition from Manchester City talisman Sergio Aguero who lies third in the standings.

Henry, who scored 175 goals for Arsenal in the Premier League and won four Golden Boots hopes that Salah can claim the title this time out.

Speaking about the award, Henry said, "I would like Mo Salah to win it. Just because it is a good story. It is a great story. Harry Kane also because he would win it three years in a row and that would be a great story. But Mo Salah, I don't remember a player playing like that in his first season."

He continued, "People will tell me that it is not his first season, because he played at Chelsea before, but let's give him that, this is his first season playing week in, week out."

In conclusion, Henry spoke about Salah's strengths and including Kane in his thoughts, he stated, "I think he (Salah) brings something else to the game. I like the way that he plays, he goes in behind. But Harry Kane will be there."
