Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah took to Twitter in order to respond to growing rumours of his move to Real Madrid. The Egyptian superstar has been a revelation at Anfield since his arrival from AS Roma in the summer.

Salah has scored 17 and assisted five goals in 22 games in the Premier League so far. His impressive performances have caught the eye of Spanish giants Real Madrid who reportedly want the 25-year-old superstar as their marquee signing.

With Liverpool fans still suffering from Philippe Coutinho's blockbuster transfer to Barcelona, Salah was quick to address all rumours and did exactly the same.

Here's his tweet:

The tweet is in Arabic and it translates to "There is a lot of rumours that are false recently, and there will be no comment on them."

Salah has missed Liverpool's last two games against Everton and Burnley with a groin injury and is in contention to feature in Sunday's highly anticipated match against Manchester City.

The Egyptian also gave an interview to Soccer Laduma in which he said, "Well, I have heard so many rumours it does not bother me any more. But I have been treated very well at Liverpool and right now, I belong to Liverpool and I am happy at Anfield."
