Highly rated Bordeaux forward Malcom has been rumoured to be tracked by Arsenal however club manager Arsene Wenger has said that the Gunners are currently not chasing his signature.

Arsenal are looking certain to lost Alexis Sanchez this month with Manchester United and Manchester City interested in signing the Chilean whose contract ends after this season. However Wenger has insisted there is no bid received from any club for Sanchez yet.

On Malcom, Wenger reveals that Arsenal do not have the Brazilian on top of their priority list at the moment as he stated, "Malcom is a good player but nothing is happening. We are not on that case at the moment."

The Gunners manager was also asked about the possibility of signing new players this month to which he replied, "I don't rule it out - at the back, in midfield or upfront. We are open, we are in the market, we are active, but I don't want to give you news I can't confirm after. In this transfer market, it's very difficult."

Asked if he regrets how Ozil and Sanchez' contract situation was handled by the Gunners, Wenger said, "I don't regret it. If you cannot give the players what they want, they won't sign a new deal. It is something you cannot change."
