Chelsea star, Eden Hazard is reportedly close to signing a contract with Chelsea, claiming he will follow Belgium team-mate, Thibaut Courtois.

Hazard's current contract ties him with the club until 2020, and now he has gone ahead and assured the club's fans that he's set to pen a new deal.

There were doubts surrounding the player's future at the club after his father claimed the 27-year-old had rejected an extension waiting for Real Madrid to swoop in. The Los Blancos have struggled heavily this season and are reportedly interested in signing the Belgian, who could effectively take Cristiano Ronaldo's place on the left.

Chelsea goalkeeper and stopper, Thibaut Courtois, is another big target for Zidane's men, but he's also close to signing an extension with the club.

Reportedly asked whether he will sign a new deal with Chelsea, Hazard has reportedly told the Mirror: "Yes. I think Thibaut first. Then I will sign," quoted  FourFourTwo

Hazard has been in imperious form this season once again, acting as the primary driving force of Chelsea. The 27-year-old has netted six goals and has assisted twice this season. Since arriving at the Stamford Bridge, the player has scored 63 goals and created another 37 in 192 league appearances.
