Canadian international and Indian Super League star, Iain Hume, took to Twitter to celebrate his Under-20 team's quarterfinal finish in the World Cup fourteen years ago, claiming it to be the best team he's ever played with.

The historic run for the Canadian Under-20 side got halted by a strong Spain side, led by the magical Andres Iniesta. Canada were the underdogs coming into the match, and given the names Spain fielded that night, it shouldn't come as a surprise. And to no one's surprise, it was Spain who struck first. The magical feet of Andres Iniesta dispatched a sweet strike to find the back of the net.

Now, it was time for Hume to show some magic of his own. Hume picked up the ball in the middle of the park, charged a couple of feet ahead before dispatching a stunning strike which left the goalkeeper gasping for air. Hume's strike forced Spain to play beyond the 90 minutes. Sadly for the underdogs, Spain nicked the 'golden goal' in the 95 minute, thrashing Canada out of the contest.

After all these years, Hume still remembers the strike against one of the elite sides of Europe, tells you the importance of the goal. Hopefully, he'll regain some of his old glory back and produce something fantastic for Kerala Blasters as they look for their first win in the Indian Super League.
