Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva believes that the club will comeback from their 2-1 loss to Shakhtar Donetsk in the UEFA Champions League and look to secure all three points against Manchester United in the derby on Sunday.

The Citizens suffered their first loss of the season in what has been a brilliant campaign so far for them with Silva assuring the fans that they will come back stronger against United this weekend.

"It's not good. It's true that we were already qualified, but we always want to win. We will work hard to keep winning our games. Of course we are not happy, even though we were qualified, to lose this game. We hoped we wouldn't lose any game this season. Unfortunately, in football, it is very complicated to win all the games", Silva said as quoted by Dailystar.

"Now it is Manchester United and, especially away, we know it is a tough game.  We will do our best and we want to be ourselves and win the three points to keep the advantage in first position - and to play the football our supporters expect us to play."

"When you lose a game the next game you have to give even more than you usually give to come back from that situation. We know Man Utd have a very good team as well but we will play our game and try to control the match, to be better than them and bring the three points back home", he concluded.

Despite the loss in midweek, City go into the clash as favourites with a win ensuring that they take a 11-point lead over the Red Devils. However, a win for United on the night will blow the title race wide open as the deficit would then be reduced to five points.
