Ranked - Four Reasons Why Chelsea's Eden Hazard is the Best Player in the Premier League

Over the past few years, there have been many top class players impressing and strutting their stuff in the Premier League but one man who has stood out the most is Chelsea attacker Eden Hazard. Since joining the club in 2012, Hazard has been one of the best players in the league and is now at the peak of his career.

His performances for the Blues have been top class and here, we take a look at four reasons why the Belgian is currently the best player in the Premier League.

4. Consistency

While other players might stake their claim to be the best in England, no one has done it with the consistency of the Belgian. Barring the 2015/16 campaign, Hazard has been excellent for the Stamford Bridge outfit and always delivers in big matches.

His consistent contributions for the club over the years have been immense and have played a huge role in their successes.

3. Natural talent

While he may not lead the statistics in goals scored or assisted, few players in the world possess the natural talent that Hazard has got. When Hazard is in full flight, the ball is stuck to his feet, making it incredibly hard for defenders to stop him.

With his low centre of gravity, he is always able to dribble himself out of tough situations and create opportunities for his side's attacking players. Such talent makes him stand out amongst his peers.

2. Title Winner

Hazard is one of the few players who has performed well and led their clubs to the Premier League title in recent years. The Chelsea star has led his side to two Premier League titles in recent years, playing an integral role in both the triumphs under Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte.

Hazard has also helped Chelsea win the Europa League and the League Cup during his time in West London.

1. Responsibility in attack

Hazard is now in the peak years of his football career and is the leader in attack for both Chelsea and Belgium. The 26-year-old does not hide during games and always is available for the ball, something that cannot be said for other players who do not have much impact when their team is not playing well.

Whenever Chelsea struggle, Hazard is always there to bail them out and showed that tendency in the recent matches against Newcastle United and Atletico Madrid.
