Two of Liverpool's most important players, Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino have returned to training ahead of the Reds' showdown with Manchester United on Saturday.

Jurgen Klopp's side trail United by a seven points at this point in the season and will love to reduce the deficit to four by beating Jose Mourinho's unbeaten side when the two teams clash at Anfield on Saturday.

There were some doubts over the availability of Brazilian pair Firmino and Coutinho when they were seen as part of the Brazilian national team's starting lineup in their 3-0 win over Chile on Tuesday.

But Klopp will be happy to see them back in training at Melwood along with the likes of Georginio Wijnaldum, Marko Grujic and Ragnar Klavan who were all involved in international action this week

Liverpool, however will be without Sadio Mane for this weekend's important match as he faces six weeks out nursing a hamstring injury. Adam Lallana too will miss out as he is currently at the Aspire Clinic in Qatar to recover from his thigh injury.

We could see Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain making his first start for Liverpool since arriving from Arsenal in the summer transfer window on deadline day.
