Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho is all set to make a much-awaited return to the Reds' first team against Sevilla in their Champions League clash at Anfield tonight. The Brazilian is yet to play this season after facing a back-problem and an uncertain future.

Coutinho handed in a transfer request early in the transfer window in a bid to force a move to Catalan giants Barcelona but Liverpool stood firm in their stance to not sell their best player to the Blaugrana.

After sitting out Liverpool's heavy defeat to Manchester City on Saturday, manager Jurgen Klopp had suggested that Coutinho will play a role in midweek's Champions League clash. The Brazilian is said to have arrived at Anfied around midday today as Liverpool prepare for an interesting clash against Sevilla.

Mohamed Salah, Daniel Sturridge and Sadio Mane were also to be seen arriving ahead of the match. Klopp spoke about Coutinho's fitness yesterday as he told Liverpool's official website,

"He is fit, he is healthy. All other information about the line-up, I think, you have to wait until tomorrow"

The German manager confirmed yesterday that Coutinho is now fully fit and Liverpool fans will have to wait to see if he takes any part in the game tonight as he concluded, "He is here [with] no [fitness issue]. I'm sure all the Liverpool supporters around the world are ready to wait another 24 hours."
