Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard was all praise for Manchester United's young star Marcus Rashford after the Mancunian striker scored on his Champions League debut last night against Basel.
The former England captain believes Rashford will be a star for the national team but Gerrard is visibly affected by the fact that the 19-year-old is making Manchester United stronger in attack.
Gerrard praised Rashford as he told Manchester Evening News, "He's got a huge future ahead of him. He's got pace, he's got everything to his game. It's great that he's English. Not so good that he's a United player from my point of view."
Rashford, meanwhile made the headlines yet again as he now holds a remarkable record of scoring on debut in the Premier League, Europa League, League Cup, England's U-21 national team, England's Senior national team and now in the Champions League.
The young striker has made an aggregate of 64 appearances for Manchester United and England. He has scored an impressive 17 goals and provided six assists for club and country at the mere age of 19!
