After an impressive win in the Champions League last night, Chelsea's Spanish goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois states that Antonio Conte's team are relishing the prospect of facing North London club Arsenal in the Premier League this weekend.

Arsenal have already been thrashed 4-0 by Liverpool earlier in the season and have lost two out of the four games they have played. The Gunners, however responded well last weekend as they convincingly beat Bournemouth 3-0 at the Emirates Stadium.

The Premier League champions come into this match hoping to further dent Arsenal's claim to the Premier League title this season.

Speaking to the media after Chelsea routed Qarabag by a scoreling of 6-0, Courtois told ESPN FC, "Sometimes it is good to face a big team early. Last year it didn't work out against Liverpool and Arsenal, but this season we have already won at Tottenham. It is good to face Arsenal now."

Calling it a big game for Chelsea, the Spanish goalkeeper now awaits Arsenal's performance in the Europa League. He said, "Obviously against Arsenal it will be a big game. They had a few bad matches, but won comfortably last weekend. Let's see what they do in the Europa League, but they will probably rest some guys.

Courtois concluded by stating the Blues will be looking to earn all three points from this clash as he said, "For us and for them it's a big game because we are third and obviously want to close the gap and take points off Arsenal as well. We are playing at home, it will be a great game and hopefully Chelsea will be the winner."

Chelsea face Arsenal in the early kickoff on Sunday evening 6pm Indian Standard Time.
