India's strongest football club and last year's AFC Cup runners-up JSW Bengaluru FC has beaten Korea DPR side 4.25 SC in the second leg of the 2017 AFC Cup Inter-Zonal semi-final held at the May Day Stadium in Pyongyang today.

The Blues took a massive 3-0 lead in first leg held at the Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru a little over two weeks ago, Bengaluru did everything right in their away leg to ensure they held on to an aggregate victory over the Korean side.

The home leg for the Indian side saw goals from Sunil Chhetri, Udanta Sing and Lenny Rodrigues but the away leg didn't produce any fireworks with both teams drawing blanks in front of goal at the May Day Stadium.

Bengaluru did concede a penalty 15 minutes from time but the Korean side failed to convert from the spot as Indian national team's number one goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh successfully maintained a clean sheet on the day.

This result means that Bengaluru will now face FC Istiklol in the AFC Inter-Zonal final and will travel to Tajikistan on September 27 for the first leg before hosting them in the return leg at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium on October 18.

The winner between Bengaluru FC and FC Istiklol will face either Syria's Al Wahda or Iraqi side Air Force Club in the 2017 AFC Cup final on November 4.
