Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho is not happy with manager Jurgen Klopp for the treatment handed out to the Brazilian after he handed in a transfer request.

The 25-year-old has set his heart on a move to La Liga and he believes it is impossible to refuse when a club of Barcelona's stature comes calling. Although, the Brazilian maintains that he has extreme respect for Liverpool and its fans regardless of what happens in the future.

This revelation came via Coutinho's family member who told Sky Sports that this issue between Coutinho and Klopp has been growing in the past few months. Liverpool, meanwhile are still adamant that they won't be selling their star man this season.

It is being said that Coutinho handed in a transfer request to Liverpool when he sent an email to the club after the Anfield management turned down a £90.4m offer from Barcelona. It is now being said that Liverpool has rejected the Brazilian's transfer request as the club is unwilling to sell him this season.

Coutinho's close family member said in an interview, "Philippe has tried very hard to find an amicable solution to this situation but to no avail. He has tremendous love for the club and its fans, but like Steven Gerrard and Luis Suarez have pointed out in the past, Liverpool does not let its players leave on amicable terms."

It will be interesting to see Liverpool's approach now as it looks all but certain that the Brazilian is on his way out of Anfield. Coutinho was not part of the team as Liverpool surrendered a 3-2 lead to draw 3-3 against Watford in their opening game of the Premier League.
