Italian midfielder Marco Verratti has told current club Paris Saint-Germain that he will not be back next season and has demanded a move to Spanish giants Barcelona according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
The 24-year-old has long been linked with a move to Camp Nou and the if reports are to be believed than the Italian side is set for a €100m move to Barcelona in the summer, which would see him play alongside his idol Lionel Messi.

Despite his wishes, the deal is anything but done as PSG are not interested in selling their star player and that he will not be sold unless the money on offer is significantly more than the sum listed above.
Verratti is widely considered as one of the best young midfielders in the world, the maestro has got even the backing of the legendary Xavi who has identified him as one player who could fit into the side and that he is perfect fit for the Catalan giants.

Signed from Pescara for €12m in 2012, Verratti has so far made 201 appearances in all competitions for the club scoring six goals while also becoming a leader in the center of the park for the French giants.
