Everton have agreed on a fee of £10.4m with Belgian club Standard Liege for the transfer of 24-year-old forward Ishak Belfodil.
The Algerian has only been with Liege for half a season, but according to the Guardian, the club have agreed to part ways.
The Toffees are doing quite a bit of spending this window, with Steve Walsh - the club's director of football - having already brought in forward Ademola Lookman for £10m from Charlton this month.
The club are also set to complete the signing of Manchester United's Morgan Schneiderlin for £22m, and reportedly had a £15m bid for Franck Kessie turned down by Atalanta on Tuesday.
Belfodil has scored seven goals in 16 appearances for the Belgian outfit this season. Liege signed the player from Abu Dhabi side Baniyas last year, and it looks to have been a good move, despite the his struggles at Parma and and Inter Milan.
The Guardian report that the Toffees had an £8m bid rejected by Liege last week, but the two clubs finally came to an agreement on Tuesday, and the striker will put pen to paper on a three-year deal.
Walsh is said to have a great rapport with Belfodil's agent, who also represents another Algerian star in Riyad Mahrez, who plays for Walsh's former club Leicester City.
