Cohen Bramall may be the new kid on the block at Arsenal, but the realities of new found fame apparently still haven't worn off for summer signing Rob Holding.
The 21-year-old defender was brought in from Bolton Wanderers after an impressive season in the Championship, but has made just eight first team appearances so far.
Wenger has previously insisted the England U21 star will get more chances, but Holding himself knows that the quality of football isn't the only thing that changes when making the step up to the Premier League.
Speaking to Arsenal's official website, Holding spoke of how he's started to get recognised while out and about.
"I was on the tube the other day and these young lads were sat just opposite me, just on the angle, and I heard them say 'is that Rob Holding?' and then they were on their phones looking and were like 'yeah, that's Rob Holding'" he said.
"I just started looking down when I heard them say it because I didn’t want to start smiling. So I was just like looking down and not letting them see that I was smiling for it."
Rob Holding might be the only person in recorded history to smile on the London underground, and the rule breaker also insists he's no diva and will remain down to earth with his fans.
"If someone came up to me and said, 'are you Rob Holding?' then I'd just be like 'yeah, nice to meet you'. And then if they wanted a photo, I'd pose for a photo and if they wanted something signed then I'd take the time to do it."
What a nice young man. Still, don't smile at people on the tube. That's odd.
